Ocho talleres diferentes, una misma esencia: Gothla, Dark Fusion y la exploración de la danza desde su lado más oscuro, expresivo y transgresor.
De la mano de Amaru Sabat, Horus Mozarabe y Morgana, podrás descubrir propuestas muy variadas que recorren diferentes estilos, técnicas y formas de expresión, siempre con ese espíritu oscuro que define al Gothla.
Los talleres tendrán lugar en Morgan East & West, en Madrid.

Eight unique workshops, one shared spirit: Gothla, Dark Fusion, and the exploration of dance through its darker, more expressive and unconventional side.
Led by Amaru Sabat, Horus Mozarabe and Morgana, this varied programme brings together different styles, techniques and approaches to movement, all connected by the dark aesthetic and rebellious spirit of Gothla.
The workshops will take place at Morgan East & West, our dance school in Madrid.

Sábados 17 y 24 de octubre, de 16.30 a 18.30.
Objetivo: Participar en la coreografía grupal que se representará en el Dark Show del viernes 6 de noviembre, y además, también da la opción de participar en el video musical que se grabará el 8 de noviembre de 15.00 a 17.30.
OPCIÓN ONLINE+RODAJE
Se enviarán durante octubre los videos pregrabados
de las runas para poder participar en el
rodaje del video musical del
8 de noviembre de 15.00 a 17.30.

GOTHLA IN RUNES
JOIN THE PROJECT to activate the 5 runes of the word GOTHLA through a dance choreography inspired by Norse mythology.
This seminar offers 2 options, both beginning several weeks before the festival:
IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS + PERFORMANCE
Saturdays 17th and 24th October, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm
Objective: Take part in the group choreography that will be performed during the Dark Show on Friday 6th November.
You will also have the option to take part in the music video filming on 8th November, from 3:00 to 5:30 pm.

The Beautiful Illusion of Losing Control
How much control does it take to look completely out of control? A physical exploration of impulses, involuntary-looking movement, resistance, isolation, sequencing, tension, release and interruption, creating movement that feels reactive, unpredictable and beautifully unsettling.

CREEPY FLOORWORK
Un taller de trabajo de suelo con una estética oscura, inquietante y profundamente expresiva.
Exploraremos movimientos sinuosos, orgánicos y contemporáneos, inspirados en criaturas que se arrastran, acechan, se retuercen y se deslizan entre la oscuridad.
Trabajaremos desplazamientos por el suelo, transiciones, ondulaciones y secuencias fluidas para crear una forma de movimiento misteriosa, animal y perturbadoramente hipnótica.
Buscaremos salir de lo convencional para explorar cuerpos que se transforman, movimientos extraños, instintos ocultos y esa belleza oscura que habita en lo inquietante.
Puesto que este taller coincide con otros, ofrecemos

CREEPY FLOORWORK
A floorwork workshop with a dark, unsettling and deeply expressive aesthetic.
We will explore sinuous, organic and contemporary movements inspired by creatures that crawl, stalk, twist and slither through the darkness.
We will work on floor travelling, transitions, undulations and fluid sequences to create a mysterious, animalistic and disturbingly hypnotic form of movement.
We will seek to move beyond the conventional and explore bodies that transform, strange movements, hidden instincts, and that dark beauty that dwells within the unsettling.
As this workshop overlaps with others, we are offering two different
time slots to choose from:

Ellos quisieron quemar a la bruja , pero ella no ardió.
En este taller técnico/ coreográfico nos pondremos en la piel de una mujer sabia que uso el calor de las llamas para completar su hechizo.
Donde las manos toman importancia para elaborar conjuros y a veces maldiciones.

They tried to burn the witch, but she did not burn.
In this technical and choreographic workshop, we will step into the skin of a wise woman who uses the heat of the flames to complete her spell.
The hands take centre stage as we weave spells — and, at times, curses.

Deconstruye. Distorsiona. Reconstruye.
Un laboratorio de movimiento creativo donde el vocabulario conocido de la Fusión se convierte en materia prima.
A través de la experimentación con el tiempo, el espacio, la iniciación, las trayectorias, las dinámicas, la escala, la repetición y la asimetría, desmontaremos movimientos existentes para reconstruirlos y transformarlos en algo nuevo y personal.

A creative movement laboratory where familiar Fusion vocabulary becomes raw material. Through experiments with time, space, initiation, pathways, dynamics, scale, repetition and asymmetry, we dismantle existing movement and rebuild it into something new and personal.

Saca tu lado más salvaje, descarado y peligroso y adéntrate en el universo del Dark West.
Un workshop de Tribal Fusion con estética western alternativa y música cargada de actitud y espíritu rebelde.
Trabajaremos combos de caderas, desplazamientos, giros y secuencias dinámicas, buscando una forma de bailar poderosa, segura y con mucha personalidad.
Más allá de la técnica, exploraremos la actitud: esa presencia desafiante, libre y un poco insolente que convierte una simple combinación de pasos en algo con carácter.
Porque a veces no se trata solo de bailar una coreografía… sino de adueñarte del escenario, caminar como si el lugar fuera tuyo y lanzar una mirada al público de puro duelo al amanecer. Y sí, trae sombrero!

Bring out your wildest, cheekiest and most dangerous side and step into the world of the Dark West.
A Tribal Fusion workshop with an alternative Western aesthetic and music full of attitude and rebellious spirit.
We will work on hip combinations, travelling steps, turns and dynamic sequences, exploring a powerful, confident style of dancing with plenty of personality.
Beyond technique, we will explore attitude: that defiant, free-spirited and slightly cheeky presence that can turn a simple combination of steps into something full of character.
Because sometimes it’s not just about dancing a choreography… it’s about owning the stage, walking as if the place belongs to you, and giving the audience a look that says this is a showdown at high noon.
And yes… bring your hat!

El humano perfecto no existe y todos los intentos que se han llevado a cabo no han tenido buenos resultados y es que es difícil modificar nuestra naturaleza , acaba saliendo como un grito guardado en la garganta desde hace siglos .
The bride es un taller técnico/coreográfico donde el estilo lírico , el old school y los pequeños detalles que marcan la diferencia se encuentran, colapsan y se funden .

The perfect human does not exist. And all the attempts that have been made to create one have ended badly. It is difficult to alter our nature — eventually, it finds a way out, like a scream that has been trapped in the throat for centuries.
The Bride is a technical and choreographic workshop where lyrical style, old school and the small details that make all the difference meet, collide and merge.

Un viaje al corazón del Antiguo Egipto a través del movimiento.
En este workshop exploraremos el Arms Tutting, las líneas y formas geométricas de brazos y cuerpo, y un vocabulario de movimiento inspirado en las posturas, figuras y jeroglíficos egipcios.
Trabajaremos poses escultóricas, transiciones, combos y secuencias coreográficas, transformando los símbolos del antiguo Egipto en un lenguaje corporal preciso, hipnótico y lleno de misterio.
Un trabajo donde geometría, aislamiento, fluidez y actitud se encuentran para crear una danza que parece despertar de las paredes de un templo.

The geometry of eternal life.
A journey into the heart of Ancient Egypt through movement.
In this workshop, we will explore Arms Tutting, the geometric lines and shapes created with the arms and body, and a movement vocabulary inspired by Egyptian postures, figures and hieroglyphs.
We will work on sculptural poses, transitions, combinations and choreographic sequences, transforming the symbols of Ancient Egypt into a precise, hypnotic and mysterious physical language.
A practice where geometry, isolation, fluidity and attitude come together to create a dance that seems to awaken from the walls of an ancient temple.
